Lyft Pay Breakdown

After i completed the CSV file, I changed some information manually. At that time it was a small set of data, and didn't take long to adjust.

The conclusion of this analysis was that time spent earning, was very good. a $43.61 an hour good. but this didnt factor in time spent either idle, driving to next station. This final number was closer to $17 an hour.

My next step with this project would be to find overall time / hours online to find my actual $/hr to see how it competes with an full time job. Knowing what I know i would recommend this line of work, with some specific tips to increase booked time. These changes include getting to gold or higher to unlock being able to see where the pickup/dropoff locations are, to better plan ur booked time

What I learned

This Project was fun, I got to use my skills in Python to convert a pdf to a csv file, which i then used python to join the csv. This along increased my confidence in using python for other projects down the line. Was my 2nd time using Tableau and first time building a dashboard instead of a storyboard.
